Itinerary

We pick you up from Keflavík Airport and head to the hotel in Reykjavík. On this first day, you will have the incredible experience of relaxing in volcanic hot springs while waiting for the tour instructions at the end of the day.

One of the great differences of our photo tour is to include, for free, a panoramic flight over the beauties of Iceland. On this flyby, we photograph rivers and volcanoes, an excellent opportunity to capture images that can compete in photo contests.

After the flight, we have a workshop, with instructions ranging from basics to advanced, depending on the level of the participant, to improve your artistic composition and photographic skills in manual mode, so you are ready to capture amazing photos of the Northern Lights. At the end, we have the delivery of the Professional Landscape Photographer Certificate.

We visite three amazing natural attractions: the Geysir Geothermal Area, Þingvellir National Park and Gullfoss Waterfall, which together make up the Golden Circle. The UNESCO World Heritage Site considers Þingvellir National Park one of the most important sites in Iceland.

We head to Snæfellsnes Peninsula, one of the regions with the most photogenic scenery in Iceland. We have cameras ready to, who knows, be awarded with the Northern Lights.

We explore the mountains and the sea coast in the western region. We visit the charming villages in the area and photograph the iconic Mount Kirkjufell in Grundarfjörður and the picturesque church at Búðakirkja.

We visit two of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls, Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss. They form beautiful rainbows during the day. During the night, we do astrophotography, with a great possibility of composing the waterfalls with the Northern Lights.

This will be one of the highlights of our photo tour. We start with the sunrise at Diamond Beach, where we photograph the sun’s rays reflecting off the blocks of ice on the black sand beach. Afterwards, we visit the stunning Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, where we will have the privilege of contemplating beautiful icebergs.

We end the day with the incredible once-in-life-time experience of photographing the impressive Turquoise Ice Cave.

This place can be considered the Disneyland of photography due to the amount of different compositions to be made. At dawn, we will capture the splendid sunrise over the mountain, which is reflected in the water mirror of the volcanic black sand at the beach. During the day, we will have compositions with the sand peaks formed around the beach. At dusk, new opportunities to watch the Northern Lights.

We will photograph the sunrise on the black sand beaches around the picturesque Vik Village. During the day, we capture the iconic Vik Church in the mountains. We end the day with the sunset on the black sand beaches. At dusk, we may be rewarded with new Northern Lights.

This is the day of departure, farewell to the group and to the new friends. We will transfer everyone to the airport. Each one will take with them the unforgettable memories and the new friendships made. We are sure that soon the group of friends will meet again on our other 4 photo tours: Switzerland, Patagonia, New Zealand and Italy.

    About the photographer

    Alexandre Siqueira

Alexandre Rapel Siqueira, or just Alex Rapel, work for 11 years as a pro photographer. He was elected as one of The World’s TOP 10 Landscape Photographers of 2021 by Oneeyeland and awarded several winning photos, including the gold medal at the prestigious Epson International Pano Awards 2021.

Before becoming a reference in the field of digital art and NFTs, he was the CEO of a large company in Brazil, which almost led him to burnout. That was when he decided to change his life to focus on what he has always loved: the art of photography, outdoor activities, travel, nature, and landscape. Now, he leads photo tours and uses his art and NFTs to make people more aware of conserving the environment and living more minimalist, with an open-air lifestyle.
